How about a weird question...

Is it any "better" for you guys for us to purchase through ShockTotem as opposed to Amazon? Roll eyes if you must, but I'm actually serious... Does WHERE you purchase have any effect?

Not a weird question at all. I appreciate you even thinking about it. =)

If you order directly from us we make more money. But it's also very beneficial to have people order from Amazon because that helps with rankings and all that. To be honest, I'd say despite the fact that we make more per direct sale it's probably better for us if people order through Amazon. The bulk of our sales are through Amazon, so rankings and people clicking "like" on our pages and reviews and such really help.

Just Amazon, though. Since we use Amazon as our printer, we get very little when people buy through other online retailers because we get the smallest cut. For instance, I think we get a 25 cents if someone orders a copy of Shock Totem through Barnes & Noble. So if it were between B&N and ordering directly from us, obviously the latter is best for us.

I loved this issue, seriously, just loved it. Way better than #5, in my opinion - no insult to #5, which was no slouch. Maybe this issue just had more stories that were to my taste, so...loved it!

Each issue has it's own personality, so liking one more than another is perfectly fine. I imagine we all have our favorites. =)

Glad you liked this latest issue! bow

Big-time magazine FANGORIA reviewed issue #6 today. The whole issue fared quite nicely. Particular congrats to P.K. Gardner and Hubert Dade. And apparently I have to change my last name to Lehunt. unsure

That is awesome! We've gone Big Time, bitches! Laughing

Seriously, it is humbling every time someone gives us praise. It's the authors who make us great, though. =)

What Ken says is true.

It is also good to note that if Skipp says it....he believes it with every ounce of his soul.

That's so true about Skipp. That man won't give you the runaround. If he digs you, he not only believes it, but goes out of his way to support you.

I think the Knife House issue is my fave. I was reading it the other day and was like, "These are all AWESOME!!!"
