Halloween 2012

Post by Mercedes on Sat Oct 06, 2012 7:00 pm

Anybody have plans yet?

We're doing the kiddo thing, of course. Afterward, my buddy is DJing at a pretty cool club and they're throwing a huge party. That could be really fun. This is a costume idea.

Is anybody else dressing up?

Turns out that I'm doing a book signing at the club, which will be awesome! It's at a horror-themed place. I'm doing a steampunk thing because apparently my normal wardrobe lends itself to that. Which makes me wonder.

What are your plans?

I plan to do a load of laundry. Maybe I should cackle in an evil manner as I transfer the clothes from the washer to the drier.

You're living my son's dream! Cackling and laundry! He'll think you're a wizard.

I'll be shopping, cooking, and brainstorming for NaNoWriMo. I'll have a bag of candy next to my door to appease the munchkins though. Laughing

I got my Psy "Gangnam Style" suit, my girlfriend has her back-up dancer outfit, and we're going to take my future-daughter Trick or Treating in her witch costume. After the little one goes to sleep, we'll watch a movie or two. I'm currently leaning toward "The Ring" and Mario Bava's "Black Sunday." (The latter I highly recommend for fans of Gothic horror, or horror in general). On top of it all, our throats will run brown with the blood of chocolate!
