This one is from an English radio station, and unknown in the trading circles...

Yesterday, for the first time in a loooooooong time, I actually walked into a brick and mortar store to buy an album the day it was released. Seems like forever since that happened. And it does not disappoint. VAN HALEN IS BACK!! \m/

Yeah, it's really good. I'm shocked. "Big River" and "She's A Woman" are my favorite tracks, and one of those two should have been the lead-off single.

Those are some of the demo tracks that people are bitching about. "She's The Woman" is only changed slightly, and Big River was known as "Big Trouble" on the demo cds I have. I'm really surprised they released Tattoo as the lead of single. I know it's radio friendly, but I think it's the weakest song.

I think "Honeybabysweetiedoll" is the weakest. It's a bit of a mess to my ears. I enjoy "Tattoo," but it'll never be a go-to song.

That's a heavy one, and maybe a little modern for old farts like us. My song liked that one quite a bit.
