Re: KISS rules!
Yeah, I know a lot of folks don't dig anything they did post-makeup (or pre-putting-the-makeup-back-on?
), but I like a lot of their 80's and 90's stuff.
I actually saw them for the first time on the REVENGE tour (I was a little late to the party, obviously). It was friggin' fantastic.

They had very few real missteps, IMO. Even when they supposedly "sucked" the music was still fantastic. Asylum was a particular highlight for me that most fans tend to ignore. I think it's a brilliant album.

Revenge is an awesome album! "Unholy" rips, and "Heart of Chrome" is one of my top 5 Kiss tunes.

Agreed on ASYLUM.
I'm not ashamed to admit it: "Tears Are Falling"is one of all-time favorite tunes. From anyone.

I genuinely think Lick It Up is a great album. 'Fits Like A Glove' is cracking.

Lick It Up is stellar. I know they held Vinnie Vincent back some to fit Paul's guitar style, but it worked, IMO. I wish Vinnie had stayed in KISS longer.
