The mannequin scared me to death. This must have been after your time, you grizzled old men, you.

Hey, Merc, if you're using HTML, you don't need to use the BB code. That's the [youtube] code. BB code is for forums that don't allow HTML. =)

Okay. I'm just copy/pasting it into the Video link, but I'll work on it. Thanks, Ken!

When doing that, just copy the URL from the search bar, like so: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Sv5iEK-IEzw. That goes between the [youtube] code.

It's not a big deal; my OCD played no part in that previous comment. Haha.

Here's a classic from the 80s for those living near me:

I remember after I joined the Air Force, I did that "I can walk like a penguin" line...and everyone looked at me like I was insane. I was like, "Hello! Seriously? New Engla...oh, right." Haha.

I recorded Sesame Street a couple of weeks ago, amazed it still existed on TV. I watched it, expecting a transportation back in time, emotionally. I got bored very fast. The real Sesame Street exists in my memory.

You have to watch clips of old episodes on YouTube to get it back. New Sesame Street is being made for younger kids and with a different cast and sensibilities. Old Sesame Street is still da bomb.

Hey, have a playlist! http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIq8jLj5TzU&feature=list_related&playnext=1&list=SPC26DAFD1CFA8A840 Aaaaaand that's my afternoon.

davisac1,

It was the old Sesame Street I watched recently; the same one I used to watch as a kid. But there was a fatal difference. As a kid, I knew nothing about adulthood (to state the obvious). The adults on Sesame Street were kids too, not actors acting in a child-like way. The other day, however, when I watched it as an adult, I saw adults, saw people acting, people secretly worrying about how much they were going to be paid, worrying about how perfect their act was ... I mean, how perfect it was. Gossiping adults. Hidden agendas. Lies....

Fixed, Kerr! I'll give you the secret to posting videos. Hit PREVIEW first thing, then more icons will pop up. The video one doesn't show up normally. Then paste your link, and you're good to go. Took me forever to figure it out.
