Shock Totem Christmas Special

Post by Kenwood on Wed Dec 22, 2010 11:08 pm

Swiped from our main page:

The Shock Totem Christmas Special is live! Four of us have written holiday tales, which we've posted online for free. All in the spirit of Christmas fun. You can find them by following the links below (click the titles):

Streamers of Silver, Ribbons of Red, by K. Allen Wood
'Twas the Night, by Nick Contor
The Antiphon, by John Boden
Christmas Wish, by Sarah Gomes

Unfortunately, Mercedes was unable to find time to write one. She's got some deadlines looming, and for much more important projects. She's a rock star.

But there's more holiday fun to be had. Our good buddy Kurt Newton has also put a very good story online, which you can find by clicking the link below (again, the title):

The Tree Farm, by Kurt Newton

And speaking of Christmas specials. GO HERE for info on our holiday sale. From now through January, our first two issues are 35% off, which is $3.89 per issue. And issue #3 is a week or so away!

Merry Christmas, everyone!

Hey, thanks Ken! I've read everybody's stories except Ken's (his is the longest). I'm going to go read that now. Happy holidays everyone!

Just read Ken's story. Worth checking out. Ken's is the most "complete" story. Razz

Oh, and believe me when I say that the boys are giving me a hard time for not coming up with a Christmas story. Razz

But also in the spirit of fun, I'm running Ryan Bridger's "A Krampus Christmas" on my blog tomorrow morning. He introduced me to the most horrifying holiday myth that I've ever come across. I won't sleep for week.

Krampus is such a wicked Christmas subject.

Sweet! Thanks. I think they came out really cool. Wish more people had read them. Haha.

But I think we're going to attempt some more holiday tales throughout the year, so that should be fun.

After spending the weekend shoveling, I'm thinking there's a certain allure to some Groundhog Day stories. LOL
