FRIGHT NIGHT

Post by Shiney on Sat Oct 09, 2010 7:12 pm

This 1985 classic is one of my all time favorite films. cheesy good times.

So imagine my horror to find they are planning a remake....and the cast, fuckin' hell.

Is nothing sacred anymore?

Really???

Ah, yes, I remember this movie. One of the stars was Amanda Bearse, before she became famous as "Marcy" on "Married...With Children".

Yes, this makes me sad and baby Cthulhu cry. I'm usually open minded about remakes and give them a fair shot to, if not blow me away, at least entertain me. It's going to be really hard for me to do that with this one. Sorry but Chris Sarandon will always be the suave vampire, Jerry Dandrige, and no one can ever be Peter Vincent, the fearless vampire killer, other than Roddy McDowall.

Yeah, the original was great. I hope they don't screw this up (they probably will!).
