I wanted this one instantly. Sweet and sinister, my favorite combination. I'm a big, big fan of Cate Gardner!

My favorite of the flash pieces, and my second favorite overall. Touching and inexplicable, innocent and horrifying. Cate Gardner can really craft a short short.

Very late to this thread, obviously, but was just searching around on the board and thought I'd leave a note on my FAVORITE story from the issue (and possibly all issues). I can't get the imagery of this one out of my mind. Very simplistic, but powerful. The hopelessness of acceptance, and letting everything go, was lasting for me. Great piece. Well done!
