I've read the entire magazine and enjoyed everything.

That said, this is the only story in the magazine I've read three times. I can't get over how great this story is. Amazing work, Wilder.

The voice in "Sweepers" is what definitely caught my attention. Fantastic story, this.

"Sweepers" is her first published piece. I thought it was fantastic. Smooth writing, fantastic imagery.

How do you discover something someone sent to us? Haha. And she sent it to me! Thus I discovered it.

In my inbox. Laughing

What am I, a groomsman? An usher?

Though I think I was the last, OTHER THAN KEN, to read this one.

I'm the ex-fiance?

Shiney read it first, then Merc, then Shiney again, then TT. And yeah, I read it last. Haha.

The thread is still here. Just search for it. You wanted the sweepers to come in sooner. You got poo-poohed on.

I know I'm late to the party here, but I just wanted to say that this was by far my favorite story from Issue #2. The bleak outlook, the hopelessness of it all, it was really something. I also enjoyed how vague everything was left in the end.

Never too late.

This is my favorite as well. And would you believe this was her first sale? Crazy. Her second sale was to John Skipp, for the latest issue of Bizarro Magazine, which he guest edited. It's also great.

Hopefully she gets more out there.

Wouldn't it be cool if we were the first to publish the new Kathe Koja?
