Ah, the loveliness of facebook...

Post by EffieCollins on Sat May 15, 2010 3:47 pm

Got a message from some dude on FB.

ellen tu es une belle femme . charmente avec tous mais respect

Basically it says, "Ellen, you're a beautiful woman. charming, respectful." or "you're charming and have my respect".

Or something of that nature. Not too sure about the end part. Not great with French... been a long time.

Apparently, this is spam, but if it wasn't... dude seriously needs to learn English. Cause, umm... I'm anything but charming and respectful.

As for beautiful... how dare he denote the gorgeousness of me. *sniffs* I'm angered and shall go cry now.

LOL! I friended someone once (someone I didn't know, but who was already friends with a bunch of people I knew, so I figured he was safe) and about an hour later, I had a message on my wall that said something like, 'you are very sexy woman. I want to chat with you and get to know you better.' Um...no. My FB page shows very clearly that I'm married. I unfriended the guy, and a few days later he sent another friend request. When I didn't accept the second request, he got the idea and hasn't sent another one.

Yeah, I have one of those guys too. He was friends with a bunch of my friends... and I can't figure out how to "unfriend" someone.

And TT... dude... if you call me a goat, I will totally kick your ass sky high.

Effie, go to Account, Edit Friends, and click the X on the friends you want to ditch. Smile

Oh, you know it. Very Happy I'm good at that. It's about the only thing my obscenely long legs are good for.

(That word was goat, right? You said, next time I'll call you a goat. I'll feel like a big ol' idiot if that's not what you said.)

I won't ever have a facebook page. There is no anonymity there and I'm exposing my family and real life friends to some of the crazies I interact with online. Nope. Never!

Yes, but it usually helps when you tell them you're not into premarital sex. They want in your pants, they have to marry you.

Trust me, it will be...problem solved:)SmileSmileSmile

I always manage to find the over-emotional ones who cling like wet napkins and are sooo annoying, want to marry ya after three hours... *shivers* (even tho I'm already married mind you... those clingy guys can still sniff me out, I work in a bookstore and get a lot of crazies in there... Razz)

I'll send some your way Theresa Very Happy

I used to be partial to Scott Weiland... til he did so much heroin that he became a walking corpse himself *shudders*

But the picture of him in like 1996 naked at the piano, in RollingStone... nice... Very Happy
