Just watched this one over the weekend on the recommendation of my niece. It has some (purportedly) actual footage from videotaped therapy sessions and police car cameras. It was interesting, but I remain skeptical. Worth a rental, though.

Yeah, it's a sham, TT. I rented it and googled the title after the part in the beginning where Jovovich says that this is based on actual archived footage. Turns out that "Doctor Abigail" is actually an actress named Charlotte Milchard. I was quite pissed when I found out...and didn't finish watching the movie. It's not the story, it's the unnecessary misdirection that pissed me off. There was no need for it, and I found that action to be in extremely bad taste.

Oh snap! Well, it's an entertaining film anyways. I liked it better than Paranormal Activity.

I'm not sure I'd call it a sham. Was Blair Witch Project a sham? It's just a different way to do a movie. The Fourth Kind was a good flick; far from amazing, but worth watching.

An ok movie at best in my book. Got to disagree with you TT, I though Paranormal was much better. But each to their own and all that…
