I remember really digging it as a kid, but have always wondered if I'd like it as an adult. I remember when I watched the original V series as an adult I thought it was terrible. Haha. Totally ruined a great memory.

TOTD is very dated but it's not bad...some really solid episodes....some really shitty ones as well.

I also loved it as a kid, but I watched the 1st season on DVD some months back and man, with very few exceptions (the Tom Savini directed episode about the freaky lil’ monster-daughter in the closet is still amazing) it did not age well. However, after watching the 2nd season I think it was improving. So for me right now the show has about a 50/50 chance of being watchable.
