I just read your post about this on Zoetrope, Paula. Yeah, give this person hell. I like Damien's advice. Don't let them get away with that. It's pathetic. I google my story titles every now and then just to make sure no one has stolen a piece (not that they'd want to, they're not that good. LOL). Sorry to hear this. It sucks.

Or e-mail press@sparkpeople.com with a thoughtful message about this girl's thefts. Suggest they remove her account.

When Ridyard was caught, it took just a few hours before the news was everywhere. Bad for business, you know...

thanks, everyone - I've contacted the admin over at Sparkpeople and I've posted a couple of comments for Ruby_Queen. I'm tempted to do a scathing blog post about it on my own blog, but waiting to see if my poem is removed pronto or not.

I appreciate the support from you all.

Thank you, Cate

The account of Ruby_Queen has been terminated - all poems have been removed. I've learned a big lesson and will keep a closer check on my stuff. I'm so glad Janna, whoever she is, left that little tip about my poem on my blog.

Crisis over. Sorry if I was dramatic. I'm usually rather calm.

Ah, good deal Paula. I hope this doesn't make you distrust all fat lesbians. Haha. Okay, no more of those jokes. (For those that don't know, that's what the Ruby Queen called herself.)

And don't worry about posting in the other thread. I have the POWA to move things. =)

People like this make me want to scream "Burn the witch!" and do this shit old school style. It's disrespect to the highest degree. I'm sorry that happened to you Paula. Thankfully the site acted quickly, but I wish there was more that could be done even so.

The Richard Ridyard bull I remember seeing on Angel Zapda's blog (I can't remember if I spelled the last name right). Of all the friggin' scum...

Stealing is bad enough and makes one feel violated. Stealing the creative results of a person's hard work - something you've poured your heart and soul into - is just flat out evil and utterly despicable.

Glad to hear this was remedied fast and to your satisfaction.
