Trans-Siberian Orchestra

Post by Kenwood on Wed Sep 16, 2009 9:23 pm

Anyone checking them out this year? Just bought my tickets for 11/19. I can't wait. It's an absolutely brilliant night!

So awesome! And they finally have a new studio album coming out. Def

My life would be at least five times better if TSO came to Britain. Would never happen, mind.

Yeah, I love seeing all the old farts rocking out. Haha. Yet they'd piss on Savatage if they were on stage. It's like TSO is metal for richies.

I love pretty much anything that fuses "classical" with "metal."

It'd be amazing if the next TSO tour was actually just Savatage masquerading under the Orchestra banner - only five (I think) members, no extra vocalists or instrumentalists and only classic songs. I'd be curious to see how people would react to a full Savatage set, ha.

Trans-Siberian Orchestra is just awesome. When has a holiday song ever made your blood race? Rock!

I may have to check out Savatage.

You would probably like the last few the most, as they were transforming into TSO at the time.

I've seen TSO three times, but not this year, alas. It's always great, and now Johnny Lee Middleton and Al Pitrelli have signed all of my Sava cds (I got in trouble for holding up the line the last time).

I'll be seeing them 11/02 (my birthday!) at the Breslin Center on the MSU campus. Can't wait! I was originally going to be paying for the tickets (my girl and I) but her mom is buying them for me as a b-day gift.

They just announced the dates for the new winter tour, featuring an ALL NEW SHOW!! headbang

But the closest they are coming to me is Phoenix, a seven-eight hour trip. Sad

Here's hoping they add more dates.
