Not a big sci-fi fan, but this one crossed the genres so well - this one terrified me. Still does.

Fan-fucking-tastic film...Subtley Lovecraftian haunted house in space movie...just balls out creepy!!!

A fun haunted house movie…*echoing* IN SPACE!!!! */end echo* Nice touches that I liked: the ship shaped like a cross, that even in space you can have the typical “dark and stormy night outside”, and the super scientific gravity drive that would look more at home in an alchemist’s workshop than inside a futuristic spaceship.

Then you might like the movie Pandorum. Although from the trailer it looks like a total rip off of the game Dead Space, which is not a bad thing as that game kicked all forms of ass!

That's true. It's funny that we have a thread on The Descent because that's what it's reminding me of in the trialers.
