I've read a lot of Don's stories and I've always been struck by how well-constructed they are. I liked the whole paranoid feel of this story.

This one is subtle, but I really like it. Did Jake die from natural causes or not?

Originally it had two words as its last line that I hate, ruined the whole story for me, felt like the author poking his head through the curtains and saying something just to get a few words in. Thankfully, Don agreed to let us cut them.

Another good story. Well written.

I like the diversity in the material in this issue.

It read smart, for lack of a better way of putting it. High quality. I like the description of the room...the surroundings. Nice work!

This was, without a doubt, my favorite story in the book. I loved the feeling of paranoia displayed throughout...so much so that I felt paranoid, as well, which is always a sign of excellent writing.

Great, great job.

This is a story that exemplifies how to not answer the question of Why? and get away with it. You don't get to the end and feel cheated, you know. It's perfectly executed.
