Indeed. I know I haven't been around to properly thank you, but I really appreciate that review. I saw it the other day while still in Maine, and I did the Dance of Joy.

Just curious, what did you think of "First Light?" That's one of my favorites.

That review is nice...mayhaps a little too spoiling in regards to the stories but still a glowing review.

Thank You!!!

A little too what? But yes, a very good review. Thanks, Seven!

In regards to the Americanized comment, we're not biased to American writers, nor will we ever be. If it turns out that any issue has all American authors, it will be purely by chance.

Copying this just to keep everything together:

DgB wrote:In my opinion, it was a very strong first issue. I haven't read a compilation where I enjoyed so many of the stories since Just After Sunset, and I read my fair share of anthologies, magazines, collections, etc. etc.

It was hard to pick my favorite story. I really enjoyed The Dead March and Slider, and the writing in First Light was exceptional. I would be willing to wager that your submissions are going to go through the roof when people start getting a hold of your first issue. Congratulations, and keep up the good work. I can't wait for issue #2. Very Happy

Let us know, Kurt! And yeah, I think the font will be bumped up a point or two in issue two.
