Nope. They don't start to rock until book 3-4 at the earliest. They end real damned good though.

Except for the epilogue on the last book. That was a little trite. But they were incredibly enjoyable. And deliciously lengthy!

Yeah, I watched it. It was fairly decent, and nice to see Malfoy express some emotion, but I found it tedious and too long.
