Zombieland
Zombie movies are a dime a dozen, and they usually suck. But this one...I think I like it.
That looks hilarious. At first I was like, "This is fucking stupid." Then I was like, "Oh...it's a comedy. Awesome."

I can't wait I can't wait I can't WAIT! This is going to be amazing. You know Woody's gonna be shit hot.
And woah! Zombie movies a dime a dozen? Love them! Romero's trilogy (because, really, we all know that only the first three count), 28 Days Later, 28 Weeks Later (kinda), Dawn Of The Dead (remake-ish), Shaun Of The Dead (and if anyone says this film isn't amazing I will find you!), etc etc.
They'ze da shizzle!

Yeah, what he said! And if this movie, which does look good, is half as good as Shaun of the Dead, then I’ll be a happy little necrophile. Oh I love the dead in the strictly platonic sense, naturally…yeah.andrewkempster wrote:And woah! Zombie movies a dime a dozen? Love them! One of my favorite Zombie flicks is much more sublte than most mentioned...it's a 1981 film called DEAD & BURIED....
dig it!

Re: Zombieland
Yeah that is a very under rated flick. More classic style zombies than “Romero’s classic” style of zombies, so many zombie fans hold that against it. I, however, do not.
Re: Zombieland
I actually think alot of people have just never seen it. It is a quaint atmospheric little move about the undead....not shambling brain eating zombies but what this movie give us is far creepier, IMO.
I think it flotats under alot of folks radar, when searching for Zombie flicks...aside from you, Brian....the only other person I ever spoke of it to, who loved it as much was Skipp, I think.

OMG! I just remembered that I forgot one of the best zombie movies ever: RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD! Want to know where zombies came to crave brains? It’s this movie, folks. How about fast, running zombies? Forget 28 DAYS LATER, it also started here. Such a great, funny, gory, goofy movie, if you’ve never seen it you should do so at once. Besides, it has full frontal Linnea Quigley (scream queen extraordinaire) nudity, need I say more? :perv: But seriously, one of my all time fun favorites, but please forget the sequels, they all kind of suck.
*edit* And I forgot another great thing about this movie (man, getting old sucks) it has a great soundtrack. When the skeleton pops up out of the grave and opens its eyes while .45 Grave’s “Partytime” starts up…priceless.

I remember that scene from the previews very well, but never actually saw the movie.

Then you owe it to yourself to rent it at once. Again, it really is one of my all time favorites; just don’t go in expecting a serious film and you’ll be ok. Also a high tolerance for the red stuff is a must.
Re: Zombieland
No to mention the uber hot naked chick in the graveyard. She even looked hot as a zombie
Re: Zombieland
Yep, Linnea Quigley. I already mentioned her, but hell she’s worth mentioning again…and again…and again…

Re: Zombieland
Linnea Quiglley...I mention her...then have to doze or rest for 20 minutes before I can mention her again.
