I bought tickets to see the Manic Street Preachers in a few weeks. I'm very excited. Perfect timing too, it's in the week after my exams.

Yeah, I too prefer their earlier stuff (The Holy Bible being a definitive rock album) but there's still some good stuff after Richey Edwards' disappearance. Everything Must Go is a great album. Also looking forward to the new one, apparently they're using lyrics left by Richey before he went missing.

Got two today:

Good Riddance - Operation Phoenix
Tiamat - Wildhoney

Both from SwapaCD. Both worthless. The Good Riddance was snapped in half (thanks, shitty USPS!). The Tiamat CD skipped like crazy (thanks, shitty, dishonest trader!). There were so many holes in the reflective layer it looked like a colander. Pffft!

I must have listened to that Exciter album a thousand times back in the 80's. That one and "Violence and Force." I always wanted to see them live, but never did. I was curious how a band with the drummer as the lead singer presented itself on stage (before Dan Beehler stopped singing).

I picked up Extreme's debut and Aerosmith's Toys In The Attic. About time I got a hold of the latter, really.
