Please... a moment of silence...

Post by Tall Tyrion on Thu Mar 05, 2009 1:23 am

For the dearly departed toilet....

Following the accidental shooting and destruction of a toilet at a
Carl’s Jr. restaurant in Centerville, Utah, the hamburger chain
announced that a memorial service for the toilet will be held at the
location on Fri., January 30. Last week, a customer, who had a
concealed weapons permit to carry a handgun, was pulling up his pants
in the Carl’s Jr. restroom when the gun fell out of his holster,
discharged and destroyed the toilet. No one was hurt in the accident,
other than the defenseless toilet.

See! That plays into my irrational fear of a toilet shatting beneath my pasty, hairy bare ass and slicing off a few cheek-steaks.

Ugh...scary stuff, folks.

I understand that Al Bundy is an honorary pallbearer. Sad

And in other news:

The Des Moines police bomb squad determined Sunday that an object that
looked like a bomb outside the Iowa Judicial Building was in fact a
sump or toilet tank float ball.

The bomb squad was called out
shortly before 4 a.m., on Sunday to have a look at the round, black
object that was discovered by an Iowa State Patrol trooper.

"They
called us and rightly so," said Police Sgt. Russell Schafnitz. "I
wasn't out there but I understand it had a sinister look about it.

He should have just said that he was shooting at the gargantuan snake that was slithering its way out of the toilet.

My new word for the day: cheek-steaks. Somehow, I will work that into a story.
