Perhaps not quite a fear, but I have a weird thing about sea creatures. I just can't stand them. Most fish included. I think if someone threw a bass or something at me, I'd squeal like a little girl. I can't eat them either - it all tastes weird and looks freaky as all hell.

So Ken, my friend just told me that her buddy just broke their toilet seat! He sat on it, it cracked and split, and while he was scrambling around in panic, he pinched his tender dangly bits something awful. He spent the rest of the day with an ice pack.

Sounds like your irrational fear happens a LOT. Just sayin'. Twisted Evil

Oh, man. That is not good. For a man without Crohn's Disease, I spend a lot of time on the toilet. I guess it's inevitable that I will sheer my ass cheeks off at some point. =(

Would it be weird to then grill them up?

As an aside, I have an irrational fear of Ken's current avatar. *shudder*

Haha! Me too! I can't even look at the thing! I just avert my eyes. Happens a lot in here. Wink

It worked for Albert Fish. Wait, that was just a roast. But I love that you asked that.

10,000? That's bullshit! I should get 5,000 just for setting up the opportunity.

Well, you should get points for setting up the opportunity. Maybe...500 points, for general quirkiness. But to take flank-grilling, and whip it into a tasty Albert Fish reference immediately? I so score!

how about a true-life thing that happened (to someone not me) that has me freaked out sense?

You know those showers with the glass doors/walls? Well, this person leaned on it, the glass broke, she fell through it, it sliced her up pretty damn bad (I think she used the phrase a few new butt cracks?).

Yeah. I don't like glass near my naked body.

Also, sliding down mountains. Because that happened before, shredded my clothes and my skin, rocks and gravel were all under my skin and remarkably, I only needed 8 stitches.

This isn't irrational, and it scares the hell out of me.

It's not a fear, but what I do about/with numbers is probably irrational. For as long as I can remember I've hated even numbers and multiples of five, but I love/am fascinated with odd numbers, especially prime numbers (but of course not 5). SO, I never set my alarm, heat my coffee, turn the volume up or down to an even number, but at all costs use odd ones.

This is all too real.

Do you guys remember Teddy Ruxpin? And his batteries would die so he was jerking and slurring, "You're my friiiiiiiiiend foreeeeeeeverrrrrrrrr." Many pillows were wet with the tears of little children, methinks.

Despite the link, there is no humor in this. It's quite nasty. Video footage taken from a New York sewer.
