That footage actually came froma North Carolina sewer in Raleigh.

It's vrey nasty and made me feel as nasty as I did when I watched "2 Girls and a Cup"...

What the fuck is that?

I read a thread about it on a biolgy geek site and the big devate there is if its a gastropod or Bryozoa.

It does look a bit slug like so I'd say Gastropod...I don't think bryozoa can move like that, and I think they need to be directly on contact with water.

Either way nasty business...Someone ought to follow this for an ST exclusive.

Haha. I copied it from a Facebook post that said New York. Either way, it's nasty. The way it moves looks so unnatural, with all those tentacle-like...things. Are they thinking it's a new species of some sort, or a mutation?

It looked like a video scope of an esophagus, to me. Sick sick sick.

If you shot that, Shiney, would you eat it? So as not to waste what you killed?

I'm dying to try out for the local roller derby, but I'm terrified that I'll be pulverized into tiny little pieces. Those girls hit HARD, and I heal slowly.

Maybe this fear isn't irrational.

I always worry I'm going to get something on my jade. As I also have OCD, I need to ask Ying to look for me or else I will always THINK I see something.

At this point, he will comically lean in and squint like Mr. Mugoo when I ask Shocked

Had to put a little air in my tire tonight. Reminded me of another fear.

I fear tires exploding when I'm putting air in them. When they explode, YOU explode. Scary stuff.

She's spying us! She wants to see us out in our yards -- washing our cars, lounging in our pools, mowing the lawn naked... Uh, that last one might be just me.

Seriously though, when looking for my house, mine is the one with the words SHOCK TOTEM painted across the rooftop. rockon

I'm not spying at all!

*Mercedes puts away her binoculars*

Seriously, my dad called me and said, "They took your google earth picture on garbage day. You all have your little trash cans out." And I was all, "Say what?" and then freaked out for a bit. It's too Big Brother for me. The idea that you can see my newspaper on the driveway creeps me right out.

To say nothing about the gigantic dirty pictures that I have painted on my house.

Yes, and it's in the very process of dying! How horrendous!

Two weeks ago he leaned over the fence and told me that we now have the best front lawn in the neighborhood. We've worked really hard. I'll have to take pictures of it's beautiful lushness.

Hey, Jameson, what's that I see lurking on your roof? Is that...a shark?? Mmm, looks hungry.

I thought of another one tonight.

I fear not paying attention in a department store and walking into those metal things they hang candy on, and it going through my eye and into my brain.

Re: What Are Your Irrational Fears?

Irrational fears, hmmm? Spiders, definitely, but I have another one and it's not exactly irrational. Well, maybe sort of. You know those white vans that don't have windows in the back? I call them serial killer vans. If I'm in a parking garage, I will not park next to one and if I come out and one is next to my car? My senses go on full alert.

One morning my car broke down while on the way to work, and what kind motorist should stop by to see if I needed assistance? A guy in his thirties, clean-cut, pleasant demeanor. Guess what he was driving? You got it. A white van. No windows in the back.

I told him I didn't need help, got back in my car, called my husband, and told him a serial killer had stopped to 'lend a hand'. Smile

(My husband said most women would've just assumed the guy was either being nice or perhaps trying to pick me up, I was wearing a skirt and heels at the time. Nope, not his wife. She assumed the guy wanted to toss her into the van, drive her to a secluded location, and throttle the life out of her or some such business.)

The girl I sat next to in band had maggots in her clarinet mouthpiece - she never cleaned it or removed the reed - until the reed was thrashed - when she had to change it - we saw those little white wormy things - ewwww - now, I have this thing about checking my moutpiece and washing it meticulously.

Crickets, most people think they're harmless, but in Texas, crickets are as bad as fire ants, they spawn and swarm in the autumn covering sidewalks and buildings, *shudders* little jumping cockroaches, absolutely disgusting.
