Detroit's SEDUCE were a nother great band lost in the faceless sea of hair metal, but they were much more than that...quite a solid 3 piece....while their "too Much Ain't Enough" cd is superb...I like this track, from the DECLINE OF WESTERN CIVILIZATION 2 soundtrack best of all.....

THE JOYKILLER is an L.A. punk supergroup of sorts, counting original/on-again-off-again T.S.O.L. members Jack Grisham (vocals) and Ron Emory (guitar), Gun Club and Weirdos ex-member Billy Persons as members...punk rawk with a little something extra.

How about a Brazilian thrash band circa 1990 made up of mostly chicks? I scored this today for $3 out of the FYE used bin....It was a blind buy...but boy, they rock!!!

I am not the world's biggest DYLAN fan...He's okay but I just can't get into his earlier work too much...But then the album "Love & Theft" came out....His always bad voice was now rough and craggy...almost TOM WAITSian...the music was jukey bluesy folk with country shades....and the album was balls out incredible!!!

KILLINGBIRD were an LA band from early in this new millenium...might still be around I don't know. I have 2 of their cds...great sleaze...part 80's sunset sleaze and part modern metal...Their singer has that Tamie Downe FASTER PUSSYCAT thing workin'....

Yeah, I see what you mean about the singer having that Taime Downe vibe. They don't sound bad at all.

KATELLA were a band from Wisconsin...I have never heard of them but this morning at the flea market I saw their e.p. and a few other rare looking cds so I took the gamble.
KATELLA re great...walking the line between QUEENSRYCHEian progrressive/traditional metal and a power metal vibe...Just great stuff.
