Not to mention he's dead.

Which means this person will probably just pick another pseudonym and keep on doing it.

An interesting character, it would seem, and if he lives on the Wirral he's only a couple of miles away from me. I'll pop over and say Mercredeses sent me.

Better wear body armor, Seven. I don't think we're on his list of favorite people right now.

A very nice blog, Ken, about a subject I knew was out there, but one you (or at least I) don’t usually think about until the too blatant examples are shown. It’s amazing what some people have the nerve (and lack of shame) to do, and that they can so easily get away with it.

I saw this on Twitter yesterday (I think). It kinda ties in with what we were saying about movie remakes. Why would you? Why on earth would you? At least the remakes are honest about being what they are. You don't steal from someone like Stephen King, pass it off as your own and think you won't get caught. For Christ's sake, son, use your head. Millions and MILLIONS of readers can't be wrong.

What if, Dick, you had made it big? What if you become this hotshot writer (which we all wanna)? Do you think people aren't going to notice your work sounds eerily similar to all the people you ripped off, that they won't come looking for you, that you won't be revealed as the fraud you are? This really pisses me off. I bet this prick has made buckets of cash getting little stories here and there posted. The police should be involved - snatch his computer, get hold of his ISP, find out where he's been posting, the names he's been using, etc etc, then let all the REAL owners of the material know. Let them sue this motherfucker til he's using the paper he printed his stolen shit on to keep himself warm in the nights, having lost everything and is kipping in the street.

Ah dude, you fucking blew it. I hope it all comes crashing down on your tiny little head.

Anyway, rant kinda over. I'm still pissed, but what else is there to say? Cock.

Sorry I haven't posted something intelligent, but I had to blow off some steam.

Blowing off steam is totally in order. I've been stomping around and raving. Because yes, it's King, but it's also little writers. Friends. Associates. He's been pulling from magazines that I was frickin' in! If I find my work anywhere under his name, I'll burn him to the ground with my eyes, I kid you not.

I'm also hearing from members of the British Fantasy Society that they're getting his work, too. Go take 'em out, Cate and Seven! SevenCate.

That's gotta be his name, right? I mean, how do these zines pay? That's genuine question. Surely they need a name to make the cheques out to.

Burn him with your eyes? Really? Show me how.

What a sleazy little douchebag puke

And as already pointed out, people who do this just paint themselves into a corner. Sooner or later, someone realizes "Hey, I've seen this before!" and it's all over Shocked

Paypal - he'd only need an email address, and I think mostly they were FTL

Oh, it's an inherent talent, Andrew. But if you're truly dedicated, I can take you as a eye-burning student.

This isn't his name. He's going by at least two names that we're aware of. Also, paypal makes things a lot more anonymous if he wants to go that route.

Did you read the second blog post? It's mine. Smile
