Top Twenty horror writers

Post by Tall Tyrion on Thu Jul 02, 2009 8:12 pm

At least here is one guy's list:

http://www.mania.com/top-20-greatest-horror-writers-alltime_article_113153.html

I like it... It's well thought out and balances the classic and modern authors in a thoughtful way, IMO

For Shiney: John Skipp gets an honorable mention. Def

That's great company. Lots of really great writers were left off, of course.

Both of you die! Haha. I like Saul. Yeah, he's been writing the same book nearly his entire career, but he does it well.

John Saul on this list is like a shiny nugget of poo on a white duvet...

And how come no Dan Simmons, Tom Piccirilli or Poppy Z Brite? They might not be mt favourites, but certainly better than Saul.

Listen here, you son of a bitch, I love John Saul! lol

I do realize he's been writing the same book for decades, but he does it so well. Haha.

I like Saul too. I read Hellfire from him first. And the rest, as the old ones say, was like a prostitute. Hookin' baby, hookin'.

I loved when he did something different with Manhattan Hunt Club.
